For over twenty five  years I have lived in Calderdale, a landscape carved by glaciers, of wooded valleys, tumbling rivers and rugged moors. The weather and shifting light create endlessly changing perspectives throughout the seasons.

Beyond Yorkshire, I love to return to Scotland where I grew up with its varying landscapes from the Borders to the Highlands & Islands. From the north of England and Wales down to Cornwall, the wealth of our stunning scenery is always inspiring.

I work from my studio in the centre of Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire. Along with other events, I exhibit my work during Hebden Bridge Open Studios in July and December each year. My work can be viewed at my studio throughout the year by appointment.
